Tau Kappa Epsilon also known as TKE or Teke, is a college fraternity founded on January 10, 1899, at Illinois Wesleyan University. TKE is one of the largest men’s fraternities with over 286,000 initiated members. The organization has chapters throughout the United States and Canada, making it an international organization. As of fall 2017 there were 246 active TKE chapters and colonies. With nearly 12,000 active collegiate members, Tau Kappa Epsilon contributes to the advancement of society through the personal growth of our members, and service to others.

Triangle is the only fraternity that limits its members to male students majoring in engineering, architecture, and the physical, mathematical, biological, and computer sciences. Triangle’s origin came from the desire of college friends wishing to extend their friendship, not only through college but also for life. In 1906, sixteen civil engineering juniors at the University of Illinois began the association that is known today as the Triangle Fraternity. These Founders based their organization on the principles of honor, friendship, character, brotherhood, and courage.
As the Triangle Fraternity states, “In order to have a better world, we must first have a world of better men.” We could not agree more. Now, it’s graduation time, let’s show the world what the Triangle Fraternity is all about in our custom Triangle graduation stole.
